Minor updates to mapping tools

I've modified makemap.pl in the mapping tools mentioned at:
http://athornton.dreamwidth.org/1022.html

The SVG now renders correctly on both WebKit and Firefox, and looks OK in Opera 10 Beta and Google Chrome Beta as well.

I also tweaked the description file a little to make the walls of the cathedral thicker, so the cross shape is evident.

Fractalize

On my blog you wrote "doing caverns with it is going to be hard." I noticed that Inkscape has Effects / Modify Path / Fractalize. That sounds interesting... I creates a gazillion extra nodes. Maybe it would be worth recreating this algorithm or scripting Inkscape to apply it to all objects with a particular class.
